I am currently a student at the University of California, Irvine. My main interests lie with both the intersection of Education & Interactive Media as well as the application of Critical Pedagogy in Computer Science Education.

Worked on Converse to Learn's conversational agent projects which aim to teach children through interactive television shows and interactive eBooks in conjunction with PBS Kids.
Assisted students in the lab portion of a "Programming in C/C++ as a Second Language" course. Utilized a mixture of socratic questioning and metacognitive techniques in order to aid students with their programming assignments throughout the course.
Interacted with students in a one-on-one setting leveraging proven pedagogical strategies to strengthen their understanding of core concepts within a Data Structures & Algorithms course. Engaged with students dialogically both in lectures and in labs.
Utilized unique problem solving tactics and communication during high impact/high stress situations to serve users during peak times. Worked both independently and with supervisors in-the-loop.
Created and facilitated training on running the medical inventory system that was used. Maintained and repaired medical equipment including IT infrastructure (e.g., phones, computers, hubs, etc.)

Apart from my research interests, I enjoy playing role-playing games, both Analog and Digital. My favorites being ๐๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ฆ๐ด๐ค๐ข๐ฑ๐ฆ: ๐๐ฐ๐ณ๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ต, ๐๐ฆ๐ต๐ณ๐ข๐บ๐ข๐ญ ๐ข๐ต ๐๐ฐ๐ถ๐ด๐ฆ ๐ฐ๐ฏ ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐๐ช๐ญ๐ญ, and ๐๐ญ๐ข๐บ ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐๐ณ๐ช๐ฏ๐ค๐ฆ๐ด๐ด. Similarly, I enjoy reading Science-Fiction with my favorite authors being Harlan Ellison, Octavia Butler, and Peter Watts.
Another form of media I enjoy is film, particularly I follow the "New French Extremity" or Feel Bad Film genre with a special focus on the collective works of Michael Haneke and Julia Ducournau.
